I've designed a lot of characters over the years, but I've never been able to fully fall in love with an OC like Iris. She has no real story to speak of, she is simply a curious creature of whimsy who lives peacefully in her forest, watching over the animals and occasionally meeting with her other unicorn friends. She is more open to approaching humans than other unicorns, and her wrist fur emits the scent that is the most comforting or nostalgic to you. The very first drawing of her is this scribble from 2020:

I kept drawing this unicorn girl over and over in my sketchbook and eventually painted this piece the following year. Her design has been slightly tweaked since then but it's still one of my favorite things I've ever painted:
