My favorite nail polish!! It's subtly pink and sparkly and it's the perfect top coat for any of my opaque colors, but I usually wear it by itself.
My go-to mousse for now. It works well, but it has a couple of issues: the first one is the scent. I don't like it and have seen it described as a bad cologne. It smells overly chemically to me. Despite this, I've gotten compliments on the fragrance before. The second and worse issue is that it's way too easy for the dispenser to break or malfunction and once it does, you won't be able to get any product out at all. This stuff is too expensive to have a glaring design problem like that.
I buy them for the scent alone, but they are very good at removing stubborn leftover nail polish and don't leave my skin and nails feeling dry and brittle after. Just one pad can get all of your polish off like magic. I don't wear nail polish often but I buy two or three at a time so I never run out.
Got this as a gift from a friend!! I didn't know this collection existed and it is SO cute!! The Gemini one smells like roses and it's amazing. The size is perfect to take with you anywhere, and the packaging is adorable.
It was a little too harsh on my face but I did like it for my body. The fragrance of lime and salt was too tempting though. I won't lie, I licked it a few times.
The citrus scent is nice but it doesn't last very long and it's easy to waste. You can rip off chunks of the jelly to ration it out, but it's not as satisfying that way. Freezing it feels good, but I didn't want to take it in/out for every shower. I don't think I would buy another shower jelly.
I bought this stuff in an emergency because the store where I usually buy skincare was closed and I was completely out of face wash. Who the hell had the bright idea to put menthol in face wash?? It doesn't cleanse very well either so I have to use it twice, for double the face burning sensation. It smells awful as well. 0 stars.
My ride or die body wash. The strawberry scent lasts all day and the mint has a fresh, cooling effect on your skin. I always feel extra clean after a shower thanks to this body wash and I will cry if they ever discontinue it.
I recommend anything from this company. Their scents are all incredible with a variety of floral, sweet, and fresh fragrances to choose from and their products leave your skin very soft. The body butters are a bit on the greasy side but my skin feels so hydrated once it sinks in. I have two of their body butters, dark chocolate mint and jasmine. The jasmine especially smells wonderful, maybe it just works well with my skin chemistry.
My once ride or die lotion, the fragrance was downright intoxicating and the consistency was absolutely perfect, not too thin and not greasy. My VS stopped selling these and you could still purchase them online for a while but it seems to be discontinued now. I won't forgive them!! Now I have to find a new ride or die lotion.
The original Music is my favorite perfume from when I was a teenger, I wore it on my first date with Bear and now the fragrance always reminds me of it. It's a sweet scent with a strong pear note (I've seen some women say it smells like beer and it makes me laugh because I can almost see it). Others say it's not very long lasting but I could always smell it on myself throughout the whole day. There's almost nothing left in my bottles but just a whiff transports me to sweet memories of that misty day.
I also have the Love variation which belonged to my mom until she gave me the rest of her bottle. Love smells more floral than fruity to me, it's a very fresh and clean scent. It doesn't last very long on my skin however. I keep it around for nostalgia only.
Sharp and citrus-y. I like it! It's gone within a couple of hours though. At least the roller makes it easy to re-apply. The packaging and the name already had me sold right away. I don't think I would buy it again though.
The appeal to these perfumes is that they come in an old-fashioned bottle. Sometimes you get unlucky and receive a pump that doesn't work. They also recently changed their bottle design to a smaller cylinder which I don't love.
My two favorites are Mourning and Grave. Mourning is a nice smoky scent with clove as the defining note. Grave is woodsy with a touch of floral, like you're really taking a cemetary stroll. None of their scents are long lasting, but my biggest complaint is that half of the bottle ends up evaporating before you can use it, and why I will never buy another. I actually prefer another grave themed perfume oil from Graveyward Wanders which has the superior, long lasting formula, but they seem to have discontinued it.
The first blush I ever bought when I first started wearing make-up over a decade ago. I was instantly in love, but it was discontinued. I had resigned myself to using eyeshadow as blush until it recently came back again, and in more palettes!! It's the perfect blush kit and for only $6.
One of the best mascaras I've ever tried, especially for the price! The brush is great and it applies so cleanly. It doesn't clump or smudge and it coats the lashes nicely, so you can build it up in layers. I do think this is more of a casual look mascara though because although it does noticably lengthen your lashes, but you won't be getting a bold, dramatic effect. It's perfect for me however.
It's crazy how widely available BB cream is now, you used to only be able to obtain it online. It has SPF built in and the product description says medium to high coverage, but I think it's more like low to medium coverage. If you need something high coverage, definitely skip this and look for something else. It's Korean so there aren't a lot of shades to choose from either, but I swear there used to be only two shades, so I guess it's a start. It's still my go-to BB cream until I find something better.
Saw this eyeliner raved about online, so I decided to try it since it's not too expensive. The product came out as watery, thinly pigmented ink, then the pen dried out and I could never get anything with it again no matter how much I shook it. I probably got a dud but the experience was so bad that I'll never bother trying it again.
My favorite lip tints! I own four colors: two reds, one pink, and one orange. The consistency is nice and creamy and the vibrant colors stain the lips well even with just a little bit of product. It'll be completely gone after you eat so you'll have to re-apply after a meal, but it lasts well otherwise. Make sure to apply some lip balm before wearing it so your lips stay hydrated.
I received the lighter one as a gift from a friend. The packaging is so cute!! I usually layer it on top of a darker color for extra gloss and shimmer.
I bought the peach one to correct my dark undereyes. It's not perfect, but it works well enough and I can see the difference when I have it on. The applicator is a little messy though, I'm not a big fan. I ran out so I need to buy a new one.
This stuff isn't even better than taking a dump, easily the worst mascara I've ever tried. I originally bought the regular version because it had so many good reviews. It was awful and gave me raccoon eyes. Someone told me that the regular version sucks and to try the waterproof version, so I foolishly gave in.
It clumps and gives you spider lashes, flakes off, and it STILL gives you raccoon eyes despite being "waterproof". What a waste of money! Who knew the most expensive mascara I'd ever buy would also end up being the worst. This is exactly why I'm generally wary of expensive make-up products.
When I first bought this eyeliner, it was so watery I couldn't even apply it. I meant to return it, but then I tried it again and it worked fine. The applicator? Great! It's such a breeze to use and get a nice, thin line. That's where my praise ends though.
I put it on as a test without anything else on and it was GONE within a couple of hours. Like I never put anything on and I don't know if the weather or my oily skin is to blame. On a full face with primer, eyeshadow and setting powder, it still doesn't last. How can you market something as waterproof when you can easily wipe it off with just your fingers? Junk.
This used to be the eyeliner that would last through anything. As a preface, this eyeliner has never been amazing and a prime example of you get what you pay for. The applicator is unpleasantly hard and easy to mess up with, and forget about ever getting a thin line. The product is sticky and makes your lashes clump together like crazy. It will smear and ruin your look if you don't wait for it to dry, and you have to scrub multiple times to remove it at the end of the night. However, the staying power along with the cheap price is what kept me going back to it, especially once I harnessed the power of the smudge.
I don't know if they changed their formula or what, but it's just not the same. The product flakes off now, it's not fun to look in the mirror and see chunks of your eyeliner missing. I have to look for a new go-to liner now and haven't had much luck finding a replacement. At the very least, it's super pigmented unlike some liquid liners I've tried.
Received as a gift from a friend!! It smells just like cotton candy which is my favorite part. I've used almost every color at least once which is nice, these are all colors I love. The colors are vibrant and I love the shimmer, I especially love the white glitter which I like to apply to the inner corners of my eyes and my cheeks. The packaging is adorable and makes me smile every time I take it out.
